always stands as a body of optimistic songs that have been laying in the mind of b.a. for a long time, and are the first original recordings since the disbandment of ebenezer. some of these songs were ideas from the 'ebenezer era' of 2001 - 2007

these are the last (unrecorded; unfinished) works by the late alexander b. mcrae (a.k.a alexander the great, a.k.a curtis mitchell, a.k.a kash, a.k.a. aa al).

b.a. used previous home recordings and dialog with alex before he passed to finish these songs. some songs were previously performed by ebenezer, but are of the domain of in 1st place (the collective). b.a. used fragments of written notes to compose and complete these unfinished works. we hope we have kept with the spirit of alex in this album.

all songs were performed, recorded, and mixed/mastered by b.a. - at j slash k recording studios. tracks are 320kbs hi-fidelity.

*non-edited; track 3 "don't know sh*t" contains explicit lyrics (psst: it's the "s" word) and it is found right at the top of the song...

last full length record of ebenezer from 2006 - un-released until 2021. features original ebenezer line-up. recorded at the dungeon studio in miami, florida. this album does not feature yngwie malmsteen, but it could have...

this was the second full length recording from ebenezer, and last to include alexander mcrae on bass guitar and piano.

some time ago b.a. asked fellow ebenezer musician t.j.p.j.r. to join him in a musical experiment... the challenge: write a short riff (or one that had already been written but not finished) and send it to the other person to write an entire song around. the idea was to take some sequence of sounds and create something (likely) very different that what the originator had in mind for this riff. it was intended to be a springboard and expansion in creativity - while creating something for the amusement and joy of each other... since t.j.p.j.r. has yet to complete his side, we present this was your idea volume i; there might be a volume ii.

tracks 4,5, and 6 are the riffs written by t.j.p.j.r. for b.a. to write songs around (soup to nuts) - to which b.a. made nut soup. tracks 1,2, and 3 are the respective nut soup tracks to 4,5, and 6.

the 3 complete songs are a complimentary trilogy; we believe in autonomy of art, so let the music mean what it means for you. tracks are hi-fidelity 320kbs.
